Music Video

I have chosen to write about this video because i think it is an interesting music video which looks low budget but still effective. I like how quick the editing is at the start as it cuts to different scenes & it fits perfectly with the music. I also like the randomness & humour the video has as it makes it enjoyable to watch. My favourite shot in the music video is when the artists are singing directly into the camera, i think this is an easy but effective shot as its a good shot to cut back to & their lip syncing if perfectly in time.

Hi, my names Ella. I'm a sixth form student at West Hatch, currently studying Psychology, English Language and obviously Media at A2, (2011 will be my fourth year of Media). I'm still undecided as to whether I will continue my studies at Uni or college or whether I might suit immediate work experience better. However if I do decide to further my education it will be within the area of film production. I don't have any hobbies in particular, I usually spend my free time watching films at home or at the cinema, listening to music and watching music videos on youtube or going to clubs. This year will be slightly different for me because I will be using practically all my free time to revise in order to achieve the best possible grades I can. I can't wait to begin creating our music video, I imagine it will prove challenging but worth it and fun!

About Me

Hi my names Georgia Surridge. I have studied Media Studies for 3 years now during GCSEs & A Levels. Media is one of my favourite subjects & I enjoy the practical side of it most. I especially enjoy editing. Last year during the coursework I was in a group with one other person so alot of work was left up to me so i have gained quite a few skills from last year. Other subjects i am studying are Psychology & Business Studies. Outside of school, I enjoy going out with friends, spending time with family, going to concerts & listening to music. About Me

My name is Maisie Linnane. I studied media at GCSE as well as A level. I love media and want to pursue a career in it. I'm hoping to do business management and tv production at university or get a job as an on set runner. I have just spent some time doing work experience at a production company called Open Mike, and will be going back during October half term, during that time I will be working as a runner on Alan Carr: Chatty Man. The practical side of media is defiantly my strength and I really enjoyed doing my coursework last year. I don't have many hobbies but enjoy spending time with family and friends aswell as playing croquet at the old peoples home :). Other subjects I study are business and I.C.T.
